Childhood Memories

Recently I took my two kids over to my mother's house where we decided to have some fun and dye yarn together. It was such a wonderful, fun time.

Though they seemed to enjoy splashing the cups of kool-aid around more than actually painting with it!

I hope that I always remember their little smiling faces and stained hands!

It brought back many memories from my own childhood, and I now have a list of colorways to create.

I think the yarn turned out quite nicely considering it was painted by a 2 1/2 yo and a 1 1/2 yo who ended up pouring the dye onto the yarn in a carefree fashion ;)
